Peedhi was created to bring that feeling back. The word “Peedhi” means generation — a reflection of our belief that traditions, craftsmanship and memories should be preserved and passed down from one generation to the next.

Born in the Brass City of India
Our products are crafted in Jagadhri, Yamunanagar — a city in Haryana that has carried the title of India's 'Brass City' for generations. Nestled along the Yamuna river near the Shivalik foothills, Jagadhri has been a living workshop of metalcraft since the 18th century, when the city was rebuilt by Sardar Rao Singh and slowly grew into a major centre of India's metals industry.
The lanes of Jagadhri still carry the sound of hammers meeting metal. In small workshops tucked behind market facades, families who have spent generations shaping brass and copper continue to work — pressing, forging, turning, polishing. These are not factory workers following a manual. These are craftspeople who have absorbed their knowledge through years of working alongside fathers, uncles, and masters of the trade.
Peedhi sources directly from these artisan communities. We do not work through middlemen. We work with the makers — sitting with them, understanding their methods, collaborating on designs, and ensuring that the fair value of their skill is reflected in what they are paid. This direct relationship is the foundation of every product that leaves Jagadhri with the Peedhi name on it.
