Handcrafted in Jagadhri, Haryana from pure copper, it contains no inner coating, no lining, and no plastic contact with your water. Every bottle is shaped by skilled artisans and finished with three-zone design — two beautifully hand-hammered bands separated by elegant hammered marks, with a smooth centre section that offers a comfortable, secure grip.

The pure copper screw-top cap is fitted with a food-grade rubber seal, ensuring a leak-proof carry whether it is on your bedside table, work desk, or in your daily bag. The ritual is beautifully simple. Fill the bottle before bedtime. Leave it at room temperature overnight. Drink it first thing in the morning.

For thousands of years, Ayurveda has valued this daily practice. Today, modern scientific research supports it through the oligodynamic effect, a natural phenomenon in which copper ions help reduce harmful microorganisms present in water during storage. Fill the bottle with clean, room-temperature water each evening. Leave it at room temperature overnight — a minimum of 6–8 hours. In the morning, drink the full contents before eating or drinking anything else. This is the Ushapan practice recommended in Ayurvedic tradition and gives the copper maximum time for the oligodynamic purification effect.

During the day, continue to refill and carry the bottle for regular hydration. Do not store the same water for more than 8 hours before drinking — fresh morning fills are the recommended practice. Use only clean, room-temperature water. Never fill with milk, juice, tea, coffee, or acidic/carbonated beverages — these react with copper and are not suitable. Do not fill with hot liquids — the copper body conducts heat immediately and the exterior becomes dangerously hot to hold.

Screw the cap firmly until snug — do not over-tighten. The rubber gasket provides the leak-resistant seal. The bottle fits most bag side pockets and standard car cup holders.

Do:
✓ Rinse the interior with warm water after each day's use — wipe dry with a soft cloth and leave uncapped overnight to air-dry completely
✓ Clean the interior weekly with natural lemon + salt: squeeze half a lemon into the bottle, add a teaspoon of rock salt, fill halfway with water, shake 30 seconds, rinse thoroughly, air-dry uncapped
✓ Polish the exterior with tamarind (imli) + salt paste or lemon + salt to restore the warm copper shine
✓ Clean beaded rings and hammered bands with a soft toothbrush dipped in lemon-salt paste to maintain detail and shine
✓ Store uncapped when not in use — allows interior to breathe, prevents moisture buildup

Don't:
✗ Never put in the dishwasher — high-heat detergent washing oxidises the copper surface and damages the rubber gasket
✗ Never fill with milk, juice, tea, coffee, carbonated, or acidic beverages — copper reacts with acids and these are not suitable for storage in this vessel
✗ Never fill with hot liquids — the copper body conducts heat immediately, making the exterior dangerously hot
✗ Do not store the same water for more than 8 continuous hours before drinking — refill fresh each morning
✗ Do not use steel wool or abrasive scrubbers on the exterior — these scratch the copper surface and hammered texture

This Copper Water Bottle was handcrafted in Jagadhri, Haryana — India's Brass City, with centuries of copper and brass metalworking tradition. The body is spun from a single sheet of pure copper on a lathe and shaped by hand into its distinctive hourglass silhouette. The hammered bands are individually struck by an artisan using a pointed copper hammer — the same hand-hammering technique used across Peedhi's entire range. The beaded rings are hand-formed at the transition points between textured and smooth zones. The copper cap is spun, fitted, and equipped with a rubber gasket by hand. Every element of this bottle was made by a person, not a machine — in a workshop whose craft tradition spans generations.
