Handcrafted in Jagadhri, Haryana, it is turned from pure brass into the traditional pot-bellied Ghee Dani form — round, weighted, and satisfying to hold. 7. Size & Specification Table

Fill the Ghee Pot with room-temperature or slightly warm ghee — do not pour very hot ghee directly from the stove into the pot, as rapid temperature change can cause surface stress on the brass. Place the lid on top to protect the ghee from dust and air. Use the brass spoon to scoop and pour ghee — the spoon is sized for controlled portions. Between refills, rinse the interior with warm water, wipe dry thoroughly with a soft cloth, and allow to air-dry fully before adding fresh ghee. The pot and spoon can also be used for serving honey, clarified butter, dry spices like jeera or ajwain, sugar, or rock salt.

Do:

✓ Polish the etched floral motif gently with a soft toothbrush dipped in tamarind paste to restore detail and shine

Don't:
✗ Do not put in the dishwasher — high-heat washing dulls the polish and can damage the etched motif
✗ Do not store acidic foods (lemon, tamarind, tomato-based) in this pot — brass reacts with acids
✗ Do not pour very hot liquids directly into the pot — allow ghee to cool slightly before filling
✗ Do not use steel wool or abrasive cleaners — these scratch the polished surface and damage the etching
✗ Do not place on stove or flame — this pot is for storage and serving only, not cooking
