Peedhi's Copper Water Bottle is pure, uncoated copper — no lining, no plastic, no shortcuts — designed to hold water overnight so it can naturally infuse with trace copper, the practice Ayurveda calls Tamra Jal. Hand-finished by artisans in Jagadhri, Haryana, it arrives ready to fill and use, carrying centuries of tradition into a single daily habit.

Fill the bottle with drinking water in the evening and let it rest for at least 6-8 hours, or overnight — this traditional practice, known as Tamra Jal in Ayurveda, allows the water to naturally infuse with trace copper. Drink first thing in the morning, and refill through the day for on-the-go hydration. Avoid filling with hot liquids or leaving acidic juices in the bottle for extended periods, as copper reacts with heat and acidity.

Do:
✓ Rinse with water after each use and wipe dry with a soft cloth
✓ Wash occasionally with mild soap and a soft sponge — rinse thoroughly and dry immediately
✓ Polish with tamarind (imli) + salt paste to restore the natural copper shine
✓ Store uncapped in a dry place to let the interior air out between fills

✗ Never use steel wool or abrasive scrubbers
✗ Do not put in the dishwasher — high heat dulls the copper finish
